Fundraising Efforts

We work hard to make our fundraisers unique to Norwalk. We want our students and staff to have a bit of fun while raising money to support our schools.

Warrior Dash

Warrior Dash happens every fall and involves both our students and community businesses. With the help of our sponsors, we provide spirit shirts for every elementary student and staff member! Students then have the opportunity to raise funds in return for prizes. The more they raise, the more prizes they receive!!

Warrior Reads

Warrior Reads started as a suggestion from a Lakewood student. Could we host a reading fundraiser? You bet! After winter break, students can earn fun prizes for themselves and new books for their classrooms and school libraries by having friends and family encourage them to read with fundraising dollars!

Warrior Reads

Warrior Reads continues for a third year, January 3 – January 31! We are embracing our Reading Era by completing challenges that help students read across topic areas, highlighting all of our specials at school!  While completing these challenges, students also have the opportunity to fund raise for their school.  Warrior Reads has three primary goals:
- Increase students’ interest in and time spent free reading
- Encourage family members & friends to cheer on their young readers in measurable ways. Challenge your young reader by giving them $5 per challenge completed, or $10 per book read! Get creative and have fun!
- Add to our school libraries and fund raise for the schools for year long items needed
Each student has 5 reading challenges they can complete in any order and earn a prize for each. These can be done outside of school time with adult sign-off once completed. When a student completes all 5 challenges, they will earn an extra prize for rocking their Reading Era! With fundraising dollars, students also earn prizes. Check out the informational envelope that your student will bring home for more information or email us! Thank you for supporting your student with reading goals and fundraising dollars for their school!

Teacher and Me Photos

Teacher & Me Photos give the opportunity to purchase a fun class photo in addition to an individual photo with your child's teacher. Both come in a single memory mate with names & school year. We love seeing classes who dress up or even find fun themes for photo day!
